Even if it is summer, I have worked on a few smaller projects. But I also managed to finalize a great cowl, which I started to knit in the Spring.
I am not looking forward to the weather turning cold, but I am looking forward to start using this lace cowl. I knitted it with three strands of very thin yarn* and I did not think it was going to keep the cold out with such a thin yarn and all those holes in the pattern! But it will be warm, as it scrunches up to a cozy snake around the neck. Even the ears will stay warmer!
* my knitting friends called it sewing thread and not yarn!
