Have you noticed any exciting yarn bombing in your neighborhood?
There is yarn splashing and then there is yarn bombing. I would categorize the splashing on the ugly shelf whereas the bombing is beautiful (nice change for a bomb!).
Personally, I have not seen much yarn bombing in the streets where I walk the most. But occasionally, a nice installation appears on my way, like this covered tree and these crocheted flowers. I love the way the yellow flowers complement the city bikes.
But I also come across yarn splashing, however you have to admit that the no-parking cones at least are much more colorful than usually.
I am not one who will be out there yarn bombing our streets in colors and wool, but I do love that others are doing so.
