As mentioned in my previous blogs on inspiration, it can come from everywhere.
Last week, I visited the World EXPO, which is running on its last week in Milan, Italy.
During the evening, I watched the show of the 'Tree of Life', which is a music, laser, light and water show. Suddenly it hit me that this tree could become a great knitting pattern for stranded (fair isle) colour knits.
I have now already dotted my first ideas down on paper and tried to make a knitting grid. It's sure that I need to fine polish it and also decide which colours I want to use, but these small drafts are a good step forward. What do you think?
