Last weekend, Brussels hosted a freedom festival - expressing freedom in music.
People had been asked to define what freedom is, so while listening to music from around the world, I also started to philosophy over this, while looking at the different messages from everybody.
The message that got stuck with me was :
"La liberté n'est pas faire ce qu'on veut, mais vouloir c'est que l'on fait."
Imagine to always want what you actually do! The ultimate freedom must be that, but how many have that freedom?
I have always praised myself fortunate to live in a part of the world with probably the most freedom; many many around us do not have the liberty to even think of freedom.
Last week was a tribute to all of you out there still fighting for your freedom!
