Today it's Valentine's Day, so this day shall naturally be marked with a special square for the new blanket that I started last month. In addition, I knitted a small heart to show my love for my husband!
I had many ideas for a heart, as many various patterns can be found. In the end I opted for an easily knitted square designed by Martin Storey for the new Rowan Knit Along blanket. I chose this because the size of the square is 20x20cm as I have decided for my blanket, and the heart looks beautiful, being a nice one-colour square to add somewhere to my future blanket.
