We are always told to hold our heads high, and so we do. The other day I did look down, though, and right by my feet amazing patterns appeared.
Have you noticed the special ventilation grids that lots of townhouses have? Some of these have real nice designs, but they live in their hidden obscurity, only being appreciated when people wipe their feet before entering and for the ventilation to the building's basement.
Today, my blog is an ode to the beauty of these grids.
