My previous blogs have been a lot about flowers. Now I will go underground where you can find no flowers whatsoever - and then again if you look closely the flowers are there.
I am talking about 168th Street subway station in New York. The platforms at the number 1 train have just been renovated so the original classic and beautiful old mosaics are yet again revealed.
I love how the subtle and yet beautiful patterns decorate a small dark space far below the ground. These are good inspiration for knitting patterns, which I might use for my squares!
