Last month I wrote I wanted to try out knitting the cross in the long grass which I spotted in Florence.
And here it is.
I was trying out moving the cross line using the cable knitting technique and I think it worked quite well.
Compared to my knitted round marble, this time I think I managed to make up for the fact that each stitch is shorter than the width. On paper the cross looks a bit too long, but when knitted it becomes a nice squared cross.
