Which tower do you think of when I say tower?
We could mention many towers in the world and many are beautiful; most we all feel like climbing to see the view from the top - I have featured here already the Eiffel tower in Paris and the World One Tower in New York City - in fact, both have been knitted into squares on these pages. Indeed, towers are plenty.
But if I say the leaning tower, I think we all can only think of one; the one in Pisa!
Finally, I had the chance to visit that particular tower a few weeks ago and as many other buildings, this one is also very beautiful - hat off to builders and stone masons back some hundreds of years ago.
I particular like the small squares featuring on the sides of this round tower, and of course, the way the tower defies gravity; very strange it simply has not bend over yet.
