Due to holidays, the August square is a bit belated, but it arrives with a big bang!
In July, I blogged about the impressive bursts in the sky from fireworks and I have been wondering how these would look in knit.
I think that the enormous round flower will get more justice in a larger square, as the contours of the round edge will also show. Here on my smaller square, the burst has reached all the way to its square edge.
Next knit trial would be to see how several bursts come together on an even larger canvas, for example on a sweater - that would be a nice future project for me to make.
