On a beautiful sunny Saturday this October, I visited with friends again the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
The tower is known for its unnatural leaning angle, but each time I also take a closer look at the details of the tower.
The carvings on top of each pillar running round the tower are very intricate, and this time I spotted two small ships carved just above the door - had not noticed these before. Wonder what these ships might signify?
