Today, 29 December, is the fifth day of Christmas, but I will be cheating a bit and only give you the fourth day of Christmas, as this is how far I have (almost) knit.
One year ago, I reached the 3rd day of Christmas, so this year I give you the fourth day of Christmas (one day late).
Above you have the three first days of Christmas. Now it is:
“On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.”
Well, I only got so far as to two calling birds instead of four, but they are on their way!
