The other weekend, I participated in a walk of the historical old Brussels and we visited the church, Eglise Notre-Dame du Sablon, on Place Sablon. It was a beautiful clear, cold and sunny day, so from inside the church's stained glass was at its best.
Both the colours of the motives but also the actual framing of the glass are beautiful.
Appreciating the craftmanship that goes into making stained glass mosaics, I took some photos in the hope to be inspired to some knitting patterns. On Ravelry there is a pattern called Tracery for a nice vest that mirrors such stain glass windows - have a look to see the similarities.
