I am ready with the 3rd knitted book of our book club.
We read “The Woman next Door” by Yewande Omotoso. An account of two elderly women living next door to one another in Cape Town, South Africa. One woman is black , the other white - an accident eventually brings them together. I first heard about this book on a radio programme, and am glad that we read it in the book club.
As usual, it is a challenge to picture the essence of a book in one little triangle - the triangle which forms one fourth of my full knitted square. If you have read the book, let me know if I did it justice.
