Small Works during Lockdown

We are entering week 9 of lockdown here in a Italy, and with the weather changing and becoming warmer and more beautiful each day, we all long to get outside for wonderful spring walks - hopefully next weekend we can take our daily strolls again …

Having to stay at home has meant that I have had time for several small projects. Here are a few examples of finished or on-going projects from the past months.

Luckily it seems that the lockdown days soon will be over, though we will not be able to restart our regular moving around in town; I see the foreseeable future will require us to still wear masks out in public, so today I sewed five new colorful masks, as I find the white ones we get in the pharmacies too hospital like - especially these days we need some colours. I had a trial knitting one, though it did not turn out so well. These fabric masks works better.

Finally, I’ve have knitted several squares on my book project, which I introduced here. Much more about that later!

Stay safe everyone!
