Today, I would like to go back in time, more precisely 2005. We lived in New York then and that February, the artist Christo and his wife, Jeanne-Claude, installed the orange gates in Central Park.
Normally, Christo covers buildings in white fabric (like the wrapped Reichstag in Berlin), but this orange installation back then in the park was really something else. Perfect for the month of February, when the trees still do not have any leaves. You could see the long orange snake all over the park. What a brilliant idea.
Do check out the work of Christo and definitely visit the places where he did his amazing installations.
