I got inspired by the frescoes of last month's blog for my knitted square of today.
However, as usual, it is more difficult than initially anticipated, just to draw up something and then transfer it to a knitting pattern.
I wanted to knit something from this decoration.
I first tried to draw up something from this part, but it did not turn out well on my paper - too busy.
In the end I think it came out quite well.
Then I tried to draw up the top bit of the frescoes and that worked much better.
I really like the snake part.
