Autumn has arrived - the perfect knitting season!
Here is what’s going on in my small knitting studio this Autumn.
As always, I am knitting summer tops during winter, and it’s no exception this year. I am knitting one with my hand-died yarn from the Loop of the Loom weaving studio. The top part and sleeves are done and finally blocked. Looking from distance, you can easily see how the yarn is pooling in an interesting diamond pattern.
Of course. I continue to work on my knitted art piece, which you can follow somewhere else here on these pages.
Finally, I am working on several other accessories fit for the autumn season. While on the knitting retreat some weeks ago, I started my second Brambling shawl which is nicely coming along now.
Finally, I am happily working on a few Christmas gifts. A pair of socks and two pairs of mitts are done so far. Great to knit gifts in this year where shops keep being closed due to the Covid crisis. It is a great satisfaction to be able to create my own gifts.
